This Privacy Policy explains what information Webdever ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use webdever.com and our related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

Information you give us

• Account details: first and last name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and optionally your company and website.
• Listings: app names, descriptions, framework, GitHub repository links, live demo links, uploaded ZIP packages, and anything else you submit when you list an app.
• Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
• Preferences: your notification settings.
• Messages: what you send us when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Security and log data, such as sign-in events and errors.

Payment information

If you buy or sell paid apps, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We receive limited details such as transaction status and the last four digits of a card, not the full card number.

• Create and manage your account and listings.
• Run the marketplace, including showing listings and processing downloads and purchases.
• Send service messages such as security alerts, storage or billing notices, and receipts.
• Send the newsletter and product updates, where you have opted in or where the law allows.
• Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Understand usage and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• Publicly, at your direction: your listing and the creator details you choose to display are visible to visitors.
• With service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, storage, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• For legal reasons, to comply with the law, respond to valid legal requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users and the public.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, with notice if your information becomes subject to a different policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, keep the Service secure, and remember settings.

When you start listing an app before signing in, we save your answers in your browser's local storage so they can prefill your listing form after you sign up. This draft stays on your device and expires after 7 days or once you submit your listing.

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, and accounting duties, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we must keep some of it by law. Backups may take a short additional time to clear.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

• Access and update: you can view and edit your profile in your account settings.
• Delete: you can delete your account from your settings. You can also email us to request deletion.
• Notifications: manage notification emails in your settings. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in each email.
• Other rights: depending on where you live, such as the EEA, the UK, or California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If the GDPR or similar laws apply to you, we process your information to perform our contract with you (running your account and the marketplace), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent, such as for marketing emails.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers of personal information across borders.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, give notice on the site or by email.
